In its August 31, 1983 edition, the Plain Dealer carried this photograph of the main dome being lowered onto a tower of StaintJosaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church in Parma, as construction of the exterior of the new church neared completion. At about the same time, an announcement was made by the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy in Philadelphia that Saint Josaphat would become a cathedral with the creation of the new Eparchy of Parma.
