Part of a $350 million expansion undertaken in the 2000s-10s, the Atrium provides a huge, all-season space for special events, including Friday night MIX at CMA themed social gatherings intended to expand the museum's audiences. Escalators on either side whisk patrons between the first and second floors alongside the new art wings that flank the Atrium. The new wings enable the museum to display a broader selection of its ever-growing collection. A full-service restaurant and food stations line one side of the Atrium, which includes seating beside a peaceful bamboo grove. | Creator: Adam Jaenke | Date: July 9, 2019 | Source: Cleveland Public Library, Photograph CollectionDownload Original File
