International Women's Air & Space Museum

The International Women's Air and Space Museum moved from Centerville, Ohio, to the West Concourse in the Burke Lakefront Airport terminal in 1998. This 1963 Smith DSA-1 Miniplane, one of the museum's exhibits, was built by Tracy Pilurs, who won the 1962 and 1965 Women's National Aerobatic Championship. Pillurs assembled the aerobatic airplane in her garage in 1964-65 from a 1957 design by Frank Smith. The model prefix, DSA, stands for Darned Small Aircraft. | Creator: Aeroplanepics0112, CC BY-SA 3.0 | Date: April 7, 2012 | Source: Wikimedia Commons
